Welcome to my studio!

Welcome to my website! I am a selfrepresented artist. As you will see from my bio, I have been raised in a family of talented Interior Designers and have found this is the way I prefer to show my paintings. I enjoy working with clients with or without their decorator. I do not mind coming to your home and helping you find the right piece of art for just the right spot. I can paint commissions if necessary. This hands on hospitality is rare in the art world.

For eight years, I have been very successful at having homeshows throughout the Southeast. I have had over 20 cocktail parties given in my honor. The generous people who have opened their homes and invited their friends have had very successful shows for me. I appreciate their generosity and have met many collectors this way. I have enjoyed continuing to help them and their friends for years to come.

I graduated from Hollins College in 1980 with a Degree in Studio Art. I moved to Philadelphia and sold my watercolors for 10 years on the Main Line. I studied at The Finishing School in NY and worked with decorators glazing their clients walls from 1985-1995, on jobs from NYC to San Francisco, from Atlanta, GA. to Tampa, FL. In this time period I was painting trompe l'oeil which led me into painting oils on canvas. Since 1996, I have painted and sold over 500 oil paintings. I am very prolific because this is my passion. I now live on the marsh of the Ashley River, just South of Charleston, SC. and paint mostly landscape scenes of the Lowcountry and surrounding areas. I have participated in many fundraisers for nonprofit organizations. I donate 5% of my sales at the end of the year to 5 different charities--- St. Judes Hopital for Children, The Ronald McDonald House in Charleston, The Lowcountry Childrens Center, Christian Childrens Fund, and The Humane Society.

My studio is at my home and you can visit me by appointment only.
